Rock Candy Media Goes International

Being #theantitemplate means that we mix it up a lot. We’re always looking for new ways to work more effectively and creatively. We’ve already abandoned typical office nonsense like synergy, huddles, coffee and scrums, but it wasn’t enough. We decided to take the bold step of abandoning the office altogether and working out of nature’s office – the IKEA in Round Rock.

A brave documentarian followed us on our weeklong sojourn into the cavernous stacks of tasteful merchandise at a modest pricepoint. He remains missing (it’s now assumed he was crushed by a BORGSJÖ), but some footage was recovered.

Unfortunately, the soft lighting, meatballs and confusing layout of the IKEA proved to have a negative effect on our mental state, and we had to escape (credit armon). Now, we’re shacked up with the creative upstarts and startups at Tech Ranch Austin, with a satellite office at the Frost Bank Tower downtown.
