Our client specializes in labiaplasty and vaginal rejuvenation – two topics that tend to be kept under the covers, and were downright banned from Facebook advertising. So how do we reach prospective patients and get them comfortable with the subject? We make approachable, irresistible videos.
Women across the country are seeking out labiaplasty and vaginal rejuvenation for any number of medical, sexual, or cosmetic reasons. There is no reason for them to feel embarrassed about it just because it involves their private area. Yet advertising
such services is forbidden by most major digital advertising networks.
To get over both hurdles – the embarrassment and the embargo – Rock Candy Media worked with the client to produce honest and engaging videos about the procedures, based on questions frequently asked by their patients. The videos were snappy and informative, making the procedures feel fine and normal. While direct ads for the procedures were forbidden, promotion of these videos allowed us to target women who might be interested. For example, women with 30-year anniversaries coming up responded particularly well.
In the end, we found the upside to Facebook’s below the belt policies.
