Pain management center Integrated Pain Associates needed a way to educate patients and other physicians about chronic pain. We created a digital atlas detailing these various conditions and their treatments.
The Pain Wayfinder begins with a front and back view of the human body, with detailed representations of the bone and nerve structures within. Users could begin to diagnose their ailment by selecting the area of the body where they hurt and reading a concise synopsis of the conditions that could cause their pain. Not only is this tool useful for the patients, but it also helps to build Integrated Pain Associates’ reputation among referring doctors, who can use the tool to educate their patients before sending them to the pain clinic.
