ZippiVet opens a clinic that offers pet owners better service and convenience, but has to overcome the challenges of getting people to switch from their current longtime vets.
When ZippiVet first came to Rock Candy Media, they were in a unique situation. They knew what they had was great. Their doctors are great, the hours are convenient, the pricing transparent. It was hard to get pet owners to see these plusses and then choose to switch over.
First, RCM re-christened them as the “People-Friendly Pet Hospital.” Then, our digital ads strategist focused on capturing customers in the precise moments when they had to find an alternative to their usual vets. Few competitors were open on Sundays, so RCM ran ads during the weekend that read, “Now open late on Fridays and the weekends.” Then on the weekdays, the ads told those searching for a vet that they were now open late on weekdays too. Though other vets might be open 24 hours, we made ZippiVet into the clear choice for anyone taking their dog to the vet after work or on the weekend.
