Rock Candy Media had a load of polished, contemporary homes in a steadily growing location to take care of. We needed a name to match the intended clientele- skewing younger, richer, and more culturally attuned without just resorting to pandering to the hipster crowd. After settling on the idea of the neighborhood being a haven from both a denser downtown and the still up and coming east side, RCM decided to go with ‘Arcadia,’ from the area in Greece depicted as an unspoiled utopia in Renaissance art. To give it a regional ring, we simply added the area name in to give us Arcadia East and give upwardly mobile urbanites a place to call home.
